Recommendations on Maintenance of Wheel Type Compost Turner
- Wheel type compost turner is in direct contact with the materials when working, so it is easier to be corroded by the materials. For the dirt stuck on the compost turner, especially the dirt on the chassis, it should be cleaned in time. If protective paint falls off, brush again.
- Check the tightness of transmission chain frequently and adjust it in time. If adjusting the tension still fails to meet the requirements, then try to remove several chains; if the transmission chain is not working smoothly, then lubricate it with butter or engine oil in time; the walking bearing, the stirring shaft rotation bearing and the lifting bearing on the chassis should be regularly lubricated with butter.
- The reducer casing must be checked for oil inside before using. Replace the oil after the first 100 hours, then change the oil every 1,000 hours, and the maximum time interval is one year.
- After the hydraulic system runs for 200 hours, all the hydraulic oil should be prevented and controlled. Then, remove impurities in the filter of the hydraulic system, and check whether the filter element needs to be replaced. Whether the hydraulic oil after filtration can be reused according to the degree of cleanness of the discharged hydraulic oil. Before discharging the hydraulic oil, the cylinder rod should be retracted into the cylinder. Clean the hydraulic system for every 800 hours of operation.
