Introductions of Different Groove Type Compost Turners
- Double shafts type compost turner:
As a pioneer of domestic compost turners, this machine once had a big influence. But it’s difficult to add fresh air into the compost groove, which will cause a lack of oxygen in the compost groove. The main frame does a S-match above the compost groove, and this machine has the characters of low efficiency and high energy dissipation. Some manufactures change the double shafts into multiple shafts to make the machine go straight. However it is still undesirable to add fresh air into the compost turner. Thus, the market share of this kind of machine is on a declining curve;
- Rotary blade shaft type compost turner:
This machine can mix materials completely and it’s working speed is pretty fast. On account that the diameter and length of the shaft are limited, this machine can not turn overhigh(generally, it can not be higher than 1.2m) and too wide(generally, it can not wider than 4m ) materials. We can add one or two blade to compost raw materials deeply or add a lateral displacement to compost widely. However, it’s too expensive to make this kind of equipment;
- Chain plate type compost turner:
When composting, this machine can move raw materials backward. The compost length is not limited, but the compost groove can’t be too wide. The working speed of this machine is fast and the compost effect is good. Therefore, this machine applies to assembly line which has a stable output;
- Rotary blade shafts- Chain plate type compost turner:
It combines the advantages together of two kinds compost turners. This machine has a large market share in recent years. The high cost is the main factor that affect this machine to have larger market share;
- Cutting disc type compost turner:
The compost result of this machine is similar to the compost result of rotary blade shaft type compost turner, and the main frame does a S-match above the groove.
