Analysis on How to Adjust the Particle Size and Uniformity of Bio Fertilizer

During the composting process, decomposition of organic matter is mainly on the surface of material granule. If the pellet has a large surface, degradation velocity of organic matter will be relatively fast. Precondition: there is a need of enough oxygen supply.  The purpose of adjusting granularity is  to seek balance between specific surface area and porosity of material and to keep enough oxygen supply in order to make sure the decomposition rate is fast. In general, the well range of particle size is 3~15mm and the best range of particle size is 5~10mm.

 There are 2 methods: breaking method and mixing method. Breaking method is to break big chunk material into small pellet and mixing method is to add some dry material into the raw material. In reality, these 2 methods are used simultaneously.
