Analysis on Biomass Fertilizer’s Raw Materials(Sawdust And Wood Dust)

The moisture content of sawdust and wood dust is pretty low: the sawdust’s moisture content is in the range of 25%~45%; the wood dust’s moisture content is in the range of 15%~30%. Therefore, we can use them to control humidity of compost material and we can also can them as minor ingredients for sluge, fecaluria of animals and kitchen garbage during composting process. Though sawdust and wood dust have an uncertain output they are not easy to be decomposed because their C/N is over 100, they have an advantage that is to keep good ventilation of compost. Thus , if the supply of sawdust and wood dust is guaranteed, we can make a good use of sawdust and wood dust during making biomass fertilizer.
